3rd place Winner for Data VIZard at Data Arcade Tournament (DAT) 2022

Won 3rd place for Data Arcade Tournament (DAT2022) Data VIZard, which is a data science competition organised by Govtech for whole of government.

2021

Head of Delegation (Singapore) for ASEAN Young Scientists Conference

Appointed head of delegation to lead a team of young scientists for the AYSC 2021 to present research conducted in Singapore universities and to also build international ties with scientists from other nations.

2020

HealthTEC Grant Awardee

Awarded $50,000 of seed funding as Principal Investigator to partner with Roceso Technologies and develop CygniSENSE – A hand assessment and rehabilitation system with Intel RealSense. This system can be used as a standalone or integrated with their suite of robotic therapy products.

2019

Young Change Maker Grant Awardee

Awardee of the Young Change Maker Grant by NYC to lead and execute a production by Kent Ridge Hall to raise social awareness.

2nd place winner for The Rising Star Competition (Season 3)

Emerged 2nd place overall the Rising Star Competition Season 3 where I sang and compete with numerous other talents.

Friends of the Elderly Award

For leading the initiative to improve the lives of elderly in Singapore through the iGait study with Lions Befrienders that focuses on the development of an intelligent assistive device to help the elderly with walking dysfunctionalities

Tote Board SG Enable Grant Awardee

Awarded $544,680 as Principal Investigator to Develop an m-Health Rehabilitation System for Stroke Patient Recovery. System was evaluated with 45 human subjects, proven effective and was deployed at Stroke Support Station.

2017

NMRC Enabling Innovation Grant Awardee

Awarded $413,535.60 of research funding as Principal Investigator to develop and evaluate an intelligent gait assistive device to help elderly improve their walking and reduce falls. Prototype was evaluated on 50 subjects and has shown potential for gait improvement.
